Gina Gershon Looks Unrecognizable as Donatella Versace in Film Transformation

Gina Gershon spared no details getting into character as iconic fashion designer Donatella Versace for the upcoming Lifetime original movie House of Versace. The Killer Joe actress, 51, looks nearly identical to the designer in a newly released promo image for the movie, right down to the stick-straight platinum-blonde hair and pout.

In the photo, Gershon perches on a luxurious pink-and-silver armchair, her eyelids heavy to mimic Versace's steady gaze and her lips turned down in Versace's signature pout.

According to The New York Post, the actress recreated the fashion maven's pout with the help of cotton stuffed under her upper lips; her nose was "reshaped" with the use of plenty of makeup to highlight and contour her face, the movie's make-up artist, Kathy Kelso, told the Post.

"She goes through an evolution -- she physically changes, as we all know, and it was important to be as truthful about that as possible," Gershon told the paper. "It's movie magic -- a little tape and glue."

The movie, debuting Oct. 5, will also star Enrico Colantoni as Donatella's late brother Gianni VersaceColm Feore as brother Santo Versace and Raquel Welch as their Aunt Lucia.

The screenplay is based on Deborah Hall's book House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder and Survival, and follows Versace's struggle to take over the fashion house following Gianni's brutal murder in 1997.

Divo of The Day “John Moffitt” (11/6/13)

John Moffitt, was born on October 28, 1986. John is a former American football offensive guard of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 11th pick in the third round (75th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin. He retired from professional football during the 2013-2014 NFL season while on the roster of the Denver Broncos.

High school career

Moffitt attended Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Connecticut, US, where he was a two-time all-conference choice as a two-way lineman. As a senior, he made 65 tackles and registered seven QB sacks in 2005. Regarded as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, he was listed as the No. 13 prospect from the New England region.

College career

Moffitt was a 2010 All-American selection by Associated Press, CBSSports.com, and Rivals.com at the University of Wisconsin.

While some have heralded John's ability to run block, many red flags have been raised about his pass blocking skills. According to sidelinescouting.com, Moffitt is "not very fast" and "lacks real quickness", raising questions about his longevity as an American football guard or center.

Professional career

Seattle Seahawks

Moffitt was drafted number 75 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft. Moffitt started nine games in the 2011 season before being injured in the week-13 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Moffitt was traded to the Cleveland Browns on August 19, 2013. On August 20, 2013, the trade was rescinded, reportedly due to Moffitt failing his physical.

Denver Broncos

On August 20, 2013, Moffitt was traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.

Moffitt retired from the NFL on November 5, 2013.
